A friend of mine was involved in a car accident and has been unable to work for the past 7 weeks. Tamworth borough council have decided in their wisdom to stop his housing benefit after they lost the relevant paperwork and refuse to accept it is there mistake and subsequently he has been issued a notice to quit on his home due to unpaid rent which will leave himself and his daughter homeless in a months time. Hopefully i can raise enough for a deposit on a new place for them with everyones help.
