Weʼve raised £2,150 to help fund our 4 Cycling Athletes to go to the World Special Olympic Games, representing Great Britain, in Abu Dhabi in March 2019.

Story
Peter, Ben, Nats and Luke are all members of Special Olympics Mountain Biking (SOMtB) and part of Special Olympics South East. They are all just delighted to have been selected to represent the UK by competing at The World Special Olympic Games in Abu Dhabi in March 2019. They will all be competing in Cycling events from 500m to 10K.
This is an amazing opportunity for all 4 of our athletes to shine and do the best they can in competitive sport. They will be showing their committment by continuing training and keeping fit, and attending several training weekends arranged by Team GB. They will then all travel, with their team mates to Abu Dhabi for two weeks, practicing and acclimatising for the first week, and competing during the second week.
They need to raise funds to help with their training weekends, equipment and travelling costs.
