My dad Peter Brindley was the Headteacher of St Peters School Netherseal for nearly twenty years during that time he inspired and taught thousands of pupils help them achieve success in their lives. Peter (aka Mr Brindley) was passionate about children encouraging them to do their best and I would like your help in keeping that support going while keeping his memory allive.

Therefore I would like your help to inspire the next generations of pupils to do the same using the Peter Brindley Memorial Cup.

The school awards points to individuals for hard work and achievement in sport, music, art, academic subjects etc. Additionally, they reward good behaviour, acts of kindness, good manners, regular attendance and so on. It is divided into three mixed-age teams and their cumulative points score over the year results in an overall winning team. The cup would be awarded to the highest-achieving team each year along with a medal and certificate.

Sue Hart the current head said to me "Although I never met your father I have heard him spoken of very fondly on very many occasions and I think this would be a really lovely way to ensure his memory lives on".
