Story
To celebrate the arrival of the UK's original national pet event in Staffordshire The Pet Show Event Director, Ian Sear will be embarking on a 131 mile trek to raise money for a number of pet related charities.
These include local favourites City Dogs Home and Animal Lifeline, alongside Smokey Paws who donate critical lifesaving pet oxygen masks to the UK's fire service.
The fundraiser will take place between the 30th of June and 4th of July and will involve 5 marathons in 5 days. This may sound difficult enough but each in addition to the distance, each marathon will be completed dressed in different pet costumes.
The charity event will be supported by a competition run via radio stations Signal 1, Signal 2 and Signal 107. Listeners will get the chance to win family tickets to The Pet Show 2017 by contacted the radio station if they spot which pet Ian is on that particular day.
