What we've done

After a year of hard work and planning, cricket has finally returned to its rightful place in Petworth Park. An opportunity has now been created to develop the ground for a new generation of sports players and enthusiasts, and we now need your help to transform the club not only into a great community space for players to enjoy, but for the entire Petworth community and a new generation of Junior cricketers.

Why

In 2017 we proved there is demand and a real purpose for cricket to come back to the historic site of Petworth Park. Now we desperately need to transform the ground and invest in training equipment so we can create an inspiring facility for Petworth.

How YOU can help

It's a £20,000 project BUT EVERY LITTLE HELP IS A GREAT HELP! That's why, along with looking for sponsors to cover the majority of the costs, we turn to the community of Petworth and its surroundings to help! This is a one time job and we must do it right to secure a future for cricket in Petworth Park. We are grateful for any kind of donation we receive, and it will ALL go directly to:

- Fund the excavation and relaying of the cricket square - this is an essential piece of work if we are to enjoy cricket next season. (Total of £2000 of donations)

- Training equipment and facilities. (Any extra we receive)

- Grounds machinery to make the pitch and the grounds playable and looking great for next season for everyone to enjoy! (Any extra we receive)

- Covers and irrigation systems. Because maintaining a pitch of good quality takes a lot of care, especially in fluctuating weather. (Any extra we receive)

Any amount helps! And your help is crucial in reviving this important community facility in Petworth Park for everyone to enjoy!
