    Story

Peter Gamble-Beresford is running the Royal Parks Half-Marathon on Sunday 08 October in support of his severely sight-impaired aunt Sally (what else?) who is Programme Secretary for NFB UK WM Branch (Reg. Charity 236629). All money raised will go to the running of the branch - which offers information, education and support to its mainly elderly members, as well as providing opportunities for social interaction and outings.

Great! 2/3 of the way there and already past the minimum I was hoping for! I'm David Whyte, husband of Sally, and one of the few sighted helpers at NFB WM. I make tea, wash up, move furniture as necessary and occasionally guide people to various parts of the building where we meet. And I may end up as treasurer as the current incumbent is now aged 90!
