Here at PGL Training we have chosen to raise funds for the charity Mind.

Mental Health is really important and effects so many people and we would like to help raise awareness and crucial funding with the aim of raising a massive £20,000.

Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.

20% of adolescents may experience a mental health problem in any given year and 50% of mental health problems are established by the age of 14, with 75% by age 24.

Because of Mind, millions more people have access to advice and support, information and services nationally and locally, in England and Wales.

As a training provider, the majority of our students fall into the 16 - 24 age bracket and as a company, our priority is ensuring the welfare of our students; we recognise the support that Mind provides and we hope that our fundraising efforts will make a real difference to those who need it.

We will be doing many fundraising events over the next 5 months, with both our staff and students who are keen to get involved and help. We need more help though and will be gratefully accepting online and cash donations.
