The old skate park in Winthorpe is in need of replacing to help give the young people (5-18) a more interactive activity based social experience. Winthorpe Parish Council are hoping to part fund a new multi-use games arena which has 5-a-side court, two smaller courts for younger children, basketball and cricket wicket. We hope this will encourage kids to play more sport in the village and help support local groups through the free use of this facility for all weather training. In order to demonstrate the communities commitment, we hope to part fund the multi-use games arena (MUGA) through crowdfunding.
