Story
Devon Sharks Rugby League Team are on the move, established 10 years ago, they have brought Rugby League into a predominant Rugby Union area and currently play in the South West League.
We are currently working with the embed the pathway and have linked with Wigan Warriors Community to bring in rugby league to the schools in Devon, as well as working on our grass roots and hope to create junior teams. This will enable us to help bring in a new sport for the community and encourage children to be active through the summer period.
In order for us to do this, we need to secure travel, at the moment a minibus hire for the weekend is costing £200-£300 plus £60-£80 on fuel.
Our mission is to buy our own 17 seater minibus to be able to travel around the county and country for our seniors, and junior squads
The power of facebook and Twitter is a very useful tool in this modern day, we ask for this to be proven. Donate £2 each and share the post, share as much as you can, if we manage to share the post to 15,000 people and all donate £2 each we have hit our target. Whats £2? Please help us to help a community that is struggling and needs a fresh new sport for the juniors to enjoy through the summer months.
