Story
To raise money for new broadcasting equipment at Darent Valley Hospital.
Valley Park Radio (VPR) is a small award-winning charity that provides hospital visitors, patients and staff, music, entertainment, news etc in Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The station is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to bring a variety of programmes to all.
We receive NO INDEPENDENT FUNDING to maintain our studio equipment.
Our current mixing desk has been in constant operation, since the hospital opened 16 years ago, and needs updating which is going to cost us over £16,000
