Story

On the 25th November we were devastated to learn that our beloved friend Phil Corbett had sadly passed away aged only 41.

Phil was larger than life - he would light up the room with his infectious personality and loved nothing more than making people laugh. He had a vivid imagination and would hold the room with stories that JK Rowling would have been proud of! That was all part of his charm.

As well as being an amazing friend, Phil was a brilliant and inspiring teacher. Its been heartwarming to see and hear about the positive impact he had on so many of his pupils and colleagues. Many of his pupils have credited Phil for why they themselves have chosen a career in teaching. He was brilliant with kids.

Phil's death has been devastating for his close circle of friends, his family, ex partners, pupils and colleagues. Its very clear that Phil left a lasting impression on those that knew him.

Many have asked how donations can be made to his memory hence why this page has been created. We intend to put the funds towards an engraved park bench and a tree planting so as to give a place for those that loved him to visit.

Every penny will go towards honouring his life - please give generously.

Rest in peace Phil- fly high mate we all love you and miss you - look forward to the day we meet again ♥ xx
