I have a sister with a disability which is Rubinstein–Taybi syndrome. Without the help of Braintree District Mencap Society to give advice, and to have Nicole attend Junior Gateway Club on saturday mornings to give my parents, me and other 2 sisters some respite was very helpful. Plus in the week somewhere she can go and be with her friends after school on certain days of the week. Life for Nicole and us would have been harder and so very different. As a charity they are always in need of money to organise events for the disabled children and adults who use their facilities.

I thought I could help in a small way by growing a Beard then shave the whole of it off. I've been growing it from November 1st 2015 and have a target to reach in growth length. I have a photo of a Great Great Grandad and I want to beat his beard length. I'm looking to achieve my goal beween November 2017 - February 2018, and then to cut it all off for Donations to Braintree Mencap .
