I've raised £3500 to Buy my son Zack a "Sit2Stand" wheelchair as he starts High School in September, his walking frame is too difficult to move around classrooms

My son Zack Maddox was born with Cerebral Palsy, over the years he has grown to live with his disability and uses a Walking frame for getting about with the aid of Mum & Dad and all of the lovely schools support staff.
As he will be moving into High School this coming September he will also have to move from classroom to classroom and not remain seated in the one room for the entire day as he presently does in Primary school. As much as I really do not want my son to spend the entire day in a wheelchair (and neither does he) the walking frame is fairly slow and cumbersome and due to the Cerebral Palsy, Zack's left arm and hand has almost zero grip strength to fully control the walker, add into this having to move from classroom to classroom it is going to be particularly difficult and tiring moving about a big new school.
I therefore wish to purchase a "Sit2Stand" wheelchair for use in the school whereby working in conjunction with the adjustable work station school desk, Zack can either be seated or standing without having to be man handled by his 1-2-1 school support staff from chair to a stand alone standing frame, thereby saving time and energy by all involved. The sit2stand wheelchair will also then be able to give his legs a stretch which is much needed to prevent the muscles from tightening which is a symptom of Cerebral Palsy and Zack can not do this by himself and is carried out every single day by either of his parents.
Zack will not be confined to the wheelchair all day as, at break times or Lunch times he will have his walking frame on hand to be able to move about the break time play areas without having to remain seated in the wheelchair giving him some freedom of movement during the day too.
The aim is to Push & Pull Zack in a bespoke "Off Road" wheelchair called a "Joelette" from sea level to the summit of Mount Snowdon (1085m) and back down again via the Llanberis Path in the same day with only 3 grown men in the team who will be rotating about either pushing or pulling on the wheelchair.
This will be completed on 9th August 2018
The Joelette wheelchair is being generously donated to us for the day only by an amazing organisation called: "JAPES" Contact: info@japes.scot Thank you to Nelson Liddle and his committee for approving my request to make use of this amazing off road wheelchair.
The Llanberis Path is 15kms from Sea2Summit with a height gain of over 950m and would take the average adult hiker 4hrs each way. Myself and 2 friends shall attempt to emulate this time but envisage it taking a bit longer depending on how well we move with the wheelchair.
Why have I chosen this challenge? I am passionate about the outdoors and have been a practising mountaineer, climber, mountainbiker, skier and paddler for decades and really want my son to experience what I have and still do. If that means I shall carry my son (along with a little help from 2 of my life long friends David Cox from Colchester and Michael Dunn from Kiddlington, Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Services - OFRS) up a mountain or on the back of a bike or in the sea kayak with me to help him enjoy the great British outdoors then so be it. My son has the same rights as I do to have these experiences.
I therefore ask that you donate to this cause to help me purchase this 'Sit2Stand' wheelchair this summer so that I can help Zack have an enjoyable 'Learning' experience at school and not have to worry too much about how he is going to get about school without being late for class or maybe bumping into people along the way with his present heavy cumbersome walking frame..
This Challenge will be conducted on 9th August 2018
