I've raised £1000 to 1)Fund workshops in schools focusing on Mental Health Education and Suicide Prevention 2)Fund research and support for those affected by MS.

Unfortunately mental health illness and suicide is a growing problem in Northern Ireland estimated to be approx 25% higher in NI than other parts of the UK. Right now in Northern Ireland more than 20% of young people are suffering significant mental health problems by the time they reach 18.
A range of sources highlight the increasing prevalence of mental ill health of children and young people in Northern Ireland in terms of the scale and complexity of problems.
Indicators for poor mental health include disproportionately higher rates of suicide in NI within under 18s compared to other parts the UK, increasing anti-depressant prescription rates for 0-19 yr olds, increasing self harm rates for 0-18 year olds and self reported poor emotional well being of children and young people.
This is why I would love you to help raise enough funds to facilitate workshops in schools to deliver emotional well-being, mental health education and suicide prevention.
Knowing a number of people who suffer from MS finding a cure is something I feel strongly about and again would love to make a contribution to help achieve this.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition, that means it affects your nerves. You get it when your immune system isn’t working properly. Your immune system normally protects you by fighting off infection, but in MS it attacks your nerves by mistake.
These nerves control lots of different parts of your body. That’s why you can get MS symptoms in many parts of your body. It’s also why everyone’s MS is different.
Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help manage the condition and its symptoms. Lets support those trying to find a cure!!!
