I've raised £22000 to buy a new wheelchair for Philippa. Philippa is dependent on her electric wheelchair to gain as much independence as possible.

Story

Philippa is 17 years old and is off to university next September.

She has been an electric wheelchair user all her life for cerebral palsy, after being 11 weeks premature. She is a very intelligent, ambitious young woman who hangs out with friends, plays wheelchair football and would happily jump off a mountain with a parachute on her back. She is volunteering at Parkrun to go towards her Gold Duke of Edinburgh.

This chair enables her to go places throughout the day independently. She changes her seating position, can stand and lie down with the simple joystick.....fantastic.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to fundraise. Fitmix are kindly organising a pop-up Pilates at Tollesbury Rec. This will be a free session and they are just asking for donations towards Philippa’s chair. Sam, Philippa’s sister, is rallying her school class together to organise a raffle open to her whole school. Craig, who out of the blue came to Philippa at a Parkrun, has kindly started us all off with a sponsored half marathon! Thank you to you all.

Thank you for your help.
