Weʼve raised £460 to help replace items stolen from my autistic, disabled daughter and her autistic partner

    Story

These two happy young people-Stephanie and Robyn-are just starting out in life together.
Both are on the autistic spectrum, and Stephanie has also been physically disabled for 16 years.
Against all the odds, they found each other again after parting 14 years ago, and are just starting out in life together, sharing happiness at last.
This happiness was stolen from them at the weekend-whilst visiting with family their home was burgled-everything they held dear was either trashed or stolen, even the fingerprints of Robyns first child.
Many of our friends have wanted to know if they could help, and suggested setting up this page. I know many of our friends are also on a very tight budget and unable to help financially-your love and support is priceless so please don't worry about that.
However, if you are also able to share this, perhaps we will be lucky enough to raise the money to replace that which was stolen and also replaceable. Sadly, their trust in humanity has also been lost-lets show them that the majority of people can be kind, trustworthy and thoughtful.
Thank you to all who have taken the time to read this-thank you from myself, Stephanie and Robyn.

      Update from the Page owner

Thank you all so much for your generosity in this matter-we raised enough to replace the item that restores sanity in this autistic household, and a feeling that the world is not such a bad place after all, for which we can never thank you enough.

these two young people have been through so much trauma in the lives, to lose their safety has destroyed their peace of mind. I want to show them that the world is still basically a good place and people will help if they can, so they can believe in society and return their lives
