I'm taking part in the Royal Windsor Triathlon on June 11th in memory of my late Grandmother: Elisabeth Baroness von Senden.

I am hoping to raise money to make a difference in cancer research and physcological care for cancer patients.

During the prolonged illness of my Grandmother, we realised how infinitely important it is that such a path of suffering is intensively accompanied. In addition to medical treatment, trained psychotherapy is just as necessary as the attention of family and friends.

The Elisabeth von Senden Foundation has set itself the goal of setting up psychosocial care for tumour patients in addition to medical-oncological therapy, specifically in places where, for various reasons, the clinics are unable to deploy trained specialist staff.

Twenty-five years have passed since her death and the foundation is now able to report on the successful work of the foundation and present its concrete projects. Thanks to many, many donations, the desired process could currently be advanced.

However, it is now necessary for this institution to be able to actively intervene in the desired process.

That is why we ask everyone here from the bottom of our hearts to continue to support the foundation for future tasks.
