Weʼre raising £5,000 to help fund my MMedSci in Assisted Reproductive Technology and achieve my dream of becoming a Clinical Embryologist.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I have always been passionate about helping others and when I discovered the field of embryology I knew that this is what I wanted to build a career within. Being able to give people the greatest gift of all, or even hope that it may be possible is a truly wonderful thing and I can think of little else that will be as rewarding. This year I have been fortunate to have received an unconditional offer for study at the University of Nottingham for MMedSci in Assisted Reproductive Technology, one of the leading institutes for study within this area. Whilst, my most recent employment has given me invaluable experience of a working fertility clinic, having moved away from home, it has made it more difficult to be able to save as much money as I needed in order to support myself through postgraduate study. At present, my course fees will not be covered by the student loan from the government. I have found it difficult to find funding for this specific course, as it can be a rather controversial and sensitive topic. Anything you are able to give would be greatly appreciated.
