Story

St Vincents Support Centre, Newcastle helps refugees and vulnerable people with practical support including providing food, toiletries, clothing, blankets, meals and household items. The Justice and Peace Refugee Project coordinate immediate help to those on the margins of society and works longer term to address the causes of inequality and to encourage people and groups to work together for change.

On 23rd October, for my 80th Birthday I will be tandem skydiving to raise awareness, and hopefully some money, for both of these good causes. I'd be grateful for any donations. If you were considering buying me a birthday present could I ask that instead you make a small contribution here and together we can make a real difference to people living very difficult lives in our community.
