What would you choose, tampons or food?

Everyone understands that Women get periods once a month - from puberty, every month of our lives, until menopause. That’s an average of 456 menstrual cycles.

With the average box of tampons costing £3.50, a Woman will spend over £1,500 on sanitary products throughout their lives. Now, as a homeless Woman, how are you going to support yourself on your period, when you don't even have enough money to buy food, or shelter?

Not only are sanitary products expensive, they are also taxed at 5% as they are deemed 'Luxury Items'. Yet, Jaffa cakes, bingo games, crocodile meat and even razors (and many more) are not?!

If you are a Woman, think about how you feel when you're on your period. the mood swings, the cramps, everything. Now imagine being alone, hungry and cold. As a man, look at the Women you love in your life. Wouldn't you want them to have the dignity and support every human being deserves when they need it the most?
