    Story

Each summer as a school we run a project called Summer Camp, during which we take a group of 16 young carers, aged between 8 and 12, on a week long activity-packed holiday in the New Forest. The person they care for may have a physical or learning disability, mental ill health or have difficulties with drug/alcohol use. We work in collaboration with the international charity 'Young Carers'.

Summer Camp offers them the chance to enjoy new experiences with the full attention of our Sixth Form team as well as letting their guard down. The main priority of Summer Camp is to have fun. The project is focused on the importance of children having the opportunity to be children.

We would be extremely grateful for any donations towards Summer Camp, thank you for taking the time to read about our project :)
