I'm raising £10000 to Help Phoenix RFC, reignite rugby in our local community, reinvent what we offer, and to reconnect with our local community.

We are Phoenix Rugby club based out of Taplow in Berkshire. We have been going 60 years and we are looking to our community to support us as we try to reignite rugby in our local community.
We want to reinvent oursleves and what we offer, and to reconnect with our local community. So, we reaching out via this funding page for your support!
Since the pandemic, amateur rugby in England and across home nations has seen a decline in player numbers like never before, we are seeing many local teams fold or have to downsize to survive. Years of history, social hubs for local people and a pillar of core values in society, gone in a few short years. But we are a tough bunch, clubs are fighting back and looking at ways to survive and to thrive in a new time for our sport.
We are small community club run by volunteers, we see the need to evolve as a club and to share what we are with others. So we are looking to our community to help us bounce back. Your donations will help us improve what we offer the wider community both within the club and out in the community. We want to build more around the rugby we love to ensure Phoenix is around in another 60 years.
Rugby is a game, but a rugby club is a place of true community values, we feel that clubs such as Phoenix need to support as they offer such core values to society. Trust, respect, friendship, family, community and fun just to name a few.
We therefore are trying all we can to raise funds to reignite rugby in our local community, reinvent what we offer our local community and reconnect with players, parents and community leaders to help grow the game again.
This funding will give us the opportunity to show who we are and what we stand for. We want to create a thriving social hub for all in our community to use, create opportunities for other sports and clubs to be part of our family, and to bring the wonderful game of rugby to all communities in the area. If you want to know more about the specific projects we have, reach out, we are happy to take questions.
