    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    How it all started:
Early in 2018, a survey was carried on the play park equipment and the swings were deemed unsafe and subsequently removed. There are insufficient funds in place for replacement swings and the remaining equipment is old and outdated. Eventually the park will fall into total disrepair.

Why is your donation so important?
Funding comes from a number of sources, but every major contributor expects to see community involvement and commitment. So please donate, no matter the value.

    The end result?
The Pierhead Play Park has fabulous views over the Forth, and we are aiming, not only to have an upgraded, fully inclusive play park, suitable for all abilities, but to incorporate suitable seating areas where parents, relatives, carers and friends can enjoy the unique outlook.
