Story

On Sunday 18th May, a team of us from Zero Carbon Harrogate (ZCH) (a UK charity, RCN 1192634) will be taking part in the Nidderdale Charity Walk & Run , covering miles of Yorkshire countryside to raise vital funds for our work tackling climate change locally.

Why It Matters

Climate change is no longer a distant threat – we are seeing its effects right here in Harrogate. Making cost-effective changes, we can reduce emissions and our energy bills. Reducing pollution from gas boilers and cars and giving people better access to nature can make our lives healthier.

Acting locally for the benefit of all can improve the resilience of our communities and help nature flourish.

How Your Support Helps

Funds raised from this walk will help ZCH continue its work supporting local people and businesses to cut carbon emissions and build a greener community. From home retrofitting advice to practical workshops and awareness campaigns, we are taking action to create real, lasting change.

Join Me on the Journey

Your donation, big or small, will make a real difference. Please support me and our team as we take on this challenge – together, we can build a more sustainable future for Harrogate
