The Piggles Trust was set up by a lovely family who unfortunately lost their precious daughter Harriet who had a heart defect and suddenly died of an unrelated infection. Harriet‘s parents feel that children and/or their siblings of preschool age like Harriet would benefit from the opportunity to have preschool sessions whilst in hospital as they are unable to attend a nursery setting and so with much love, hard work and passion the charity which is the first in the country to provide this was created

So far there are 4 nursery workers from Trust Taplins childcare that attend sessions with children at Southampton General Hospital.

On Saturday the 25th August 2018 the 4 nursery workers; Vicky, Stacey, Laura and Lauren will be taking the plunge and doing a Skydive to raise funds to support the charity in which they hold close to their own hearts.
