The Mental Health organization UK state that every week 1 in 6 adults experience a common health problem, such as anxiety or depression and 1 in 5 adults has considered taking their own life at some point. Exercise can boost your spirits, immune health, and your energy levels. This in turn can really help reduce people’s anxiety, stress, and improve sleep.
Raising awareness of mental health issues and their impact has become increasingly important as we see a rise in the numbers of people affected by poor mental health. These issues affect all communities and cannot always be noticed even within your own family. This year we are raising funds for our local HEADS UP MENTAL HEALTH CHARITY. They work with Adults who are experiencing Mental Health Problems and support them in many ways. The offer Cooking Skills Courses,Music for the Mind, Future is Bright and Physical fitness Courses, Carer Health and Fitness Courses and Carer Pamper Treatments.
