I've raised £300 to help a local retirement home

We are a group of young people who are currently doing their 3rd week of NCS (National Citizen Service). This week, we must do at least 30 hours of charity work with a local charity or for a local cause. We have decided to work with Pinewood Court Retirement Home, where one of our group member’s granddad is living, as it means we can see the impact we make. We have already done a tea party at the home, to make ourselves known to the residents and to become friendly with them. We also told them that we have decided to donate the money raised to them, where they can decide on what to spend it on.
To raise money for Pinewood Court, our team have decided to do a sponsored bike ride at Swinley Forest on Thursday 26th July, where we aim to ride a minimum distance of 20 miles. This will be a challenge for our group, as some of our members have never ridden a bike before, as well as the current heat wave which means that the temperature on Thursday will be around 30 degrees. We will be riding from 09:00 and intend to ride most of the day.
We will be producing a video of all our work which will be posted on social media, await updates for more on that.
We apprecite donations of any size and hope you are able to help us raise money for Pinewood Court.
