In March a group of ladies came together to learn how to play rugby for a charity match. The spirit displayed was and still is truly remarkable. Following the success of the charity match the ladies wanted to keep the team running and with the support of Llantwit Fardre RFC and the WRU the team (all 38 of them) have now gained A status which is the stepping stone into the ladies league in South Wales. This year they will need to have played 10 competitive games to achieve B status to meet the next criteria. The cost of setting up a new team is not cheap, this is where we hope local businesses, friends and families can support us in getting kit etc. Please show your support by donating, all amounts greatly received. Remember with the Bridgers girls teams also being run out of Llantwit Fardre RFC this ladies adult team is their future stepping stone to that Welsh Cap....we therefore encourage you to support us in our quest for greatness.
