The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
After the sudden death of my younger sister, Icon, due to Kidney Failure with Asthma, Lung and Heart Complications, the more I begun to wish that I had money then to sustain her need for Hemodialysis, medicines, medical check – up and even Kidney Transplant. I tried my best then to search for funds in order to save the life of my sister but I wasn’t lucky enough.
She was diagnosed with 90% Chronic Kidney Failure at the age of 30 years old. She was a very good daughter, sister and sister-in-law, mother to her only kid, wife, aunt, niece, cousin, Manager, Team Leader, Teacher and friend rolled into one. She’s indeed a very humble, kind hearted, intelligent, smart, talented young Corporate Leader. We lost her at the age of 35 while I was holding her in my arms as we were rushing her in a nearby hospital.
Everything is still fresh in my mind and heart up until now. That’s the reason why I wouldn’t like the pain which I’m still feeling right now be experienced by the loved ones of those other Kidney Patients nowadays. Her struggles in her disease and her death brought me into a vision on developing a Dialysis Center for poor and unfortunate people who are experiencing the same dilemma as my sister before.
Through the aid of PinoyWish Foundation, we are knocking into each of your kind hearts to please support this vision so that in memory of my sister, we may help support other Kidney Failure Patients who badly needed Dialysis. I wish that no poor Kidney Patient in the Philippines will be deprived of the opportunity to receive Dialysis Treatment.
Also, we aim to provide Preventive Measures and Early Determination Training to the community so that we can help decrease the number of Kidney Disease incidence in the community and in the whole Philippines. We aim to have our nation, Kidney Disease Free so that no important life will be wasted again.
Icon wrote in her Facebook account before her death “Please add in your skype account if you’re interested to study English Online. I will personally create a lesson plan for you so we can start online our English Classes. This is best for people who want to prepare for Call Center Jobs and other English Proficiency Exams, also for students and pupils who want to continue learning this summer vacation. Your donation for joining will go to my bucket of medical expenses. No minimum amount needed. Any donation is whole heartedly appreciated. So learn and help at the same time. Please support ihelp.learn. Thanks so much”
“I thank God for always saving me. I thank Mom, Dad, Aunt Cel, Aunt Baby, Aunt Annie, Cousin Rico, Cousin Marit, my older sister Malen, and her husband Aye, my friends, classmates, relatives, all my cousins, Uncle Oscar, Aunt Chit, Aunt Oya and Mina, Uncle Jojie and Aunt Charit, my employers Ma’am Kate and Sir Darwin and everyone who loves me especially my husband John Elmer and my loving daughter Kelly… I love you all. I will always be here fighting positively and gracefully. Thanks to all your prayers.
