Story
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
On 13/12/24, our lives were turned upside down when a devastating fire tore through our neighbourhood, destroying our home and many others. In just minutes, everything we worked so hard for - our personal belongings, and the place we called home - was destroyed. We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Surrey Fire and Rescue Services for their response. They prevented what could have been a complete loss and most importantly, ensured the safety of everyone involved.
While we’re relieved that not everything was lost, the fire has left our home uninhabitable with collapsed roofing, and we now navigate temporary living arrangements and are trying to replace the essentials we often take for granted - clothing, food, and everyday necessities - while working towards rebuilding our lives.

We are blessed to have been spared a greater tragedy and are leaning on our faith and the kindness of those around us to get through this difficult time. If you’re able, please donate or share this page with your network. Your support and prayers mean the world to us as we navigate this difficult chapter.
Once again, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the Surrey Fire and Rescue Services. Their response ensured our safety, and for that, we are forever thankful.
With love and appreciation,
The Pinto Family
