Story
I am a 49 year old who loves life and who was diagnosed 20 months ago with stage 4 bowel cancer. Unfortunately it has spread to my liver so right now surgery isnt an option. However, along with chemotherapy to try and shrink the tumours I have been offered a newer treatment called monoclonal antibodies which target the tumour cells and turn off the growth factor to help them shrink. In addition this medication also increases the efficacy of the chemotherapy. Hopefully my tumours will shrink to allow for future surgery or at the very least allow for a good quality of life for as long as possible.
This drug is currently the gold standard treatment recommended by NICE. Sadly due to NHS funding rules I was only allowed a certain number of cycles for free, meaning that in order to continue I must fund this treatment myself which will cost £3,618 per month. I have set up this page as part of an effort to raise enough money to allow me to have this treatment for as long as possible.
I am currently fit and well and hope to remain this way for as long as possible. I appreciate this is a big ask from everyone so any donations no matter how small would be amazing and greatly appreciate
Thankyou!!!

We are continuing to raise so much money in total now including money going straight into my bank account we are now over £30,000 which is amazing and will allow me to have my treatment for a long time yet. Thanks again everyone you are all amazing xxxx
