Story

I have to move to avoid becoming homeless, but also to move somewhere that is accessible for my wheelchair, and for other friends and family who have health issues.

I have been offered a flat that is perfect, it is a small ground-floor flat with its own ramped entrance to the living room. It even has a little artificial fireplace in the living room which is something I have always dreamed of having. And it is affordable. This is great news and I am really happy.

I have been preparing for moving and I have most of the things I need to set up my new home.

There are a few essential items that I still need to buy and a few costs I will still need to cover that are out of my reach financially.

I appreciate that most of the people I know also have limited or low incomes, and I don't have anyone who can afford to lend me the money I need outright. Someone suggested to me that I set up a crowdfunding page and ask people to help me with just a little amount each so that from a £1 here and there I can get everything sorted.

Items I need to purchase include a Washer/Dryer as the space is small and there is nowhere to dry clothes, and a small dishwasher because I struggle to stand long enough to wash up, as well as dropping things when washing them. I will also need to pay initial bills and rent and will be struggling just to make ends meet whilst everything gets finalised.

Any help is appreciated no matter how small. I really hate that I am having to ask for help so please be kind.
