I've raised £20000 to provide support to neonatal units around Yorkshire and support for families on those wards

Pipsqueak's has been set up in memory of our little daughter, Pippa. Pipsqueak was the nickname we gave her - the bird in our logo represents her. We think of her as our little bird that flew away. This charity is a tribute to her and the care that she received.
The aim of our organisation is to provide help and support to neonatal units across Yorkshire. We will raise money to purchase new equipment for NICUs and we will provide support for families on those wards.
During Pippa's life, we spent time on three separate NICUs in Yorkshire (Sheffield's Jessop Wing, St James Hospital Leeds, and Leeds General Infirmary). It is very clear that funds are tight in each unit, with all of them relying heavily on donations from charity to buy equipment their budgets just won't stretch to. Pipsqueak's will also have a massive focus on families. Parents spend days on end next to their babies, sometimes without anything else than what they're wearing. We will aim to give parents a helping hand and the support they always need on the wards.
We've got lots of different people and organisations raising money for us this year! So thank you to everyone who is involved in helping us.
We are officially a non-profit organisation - once we raise £5000 a year we can become an official charity. All funds raised will go straight to neonatal wards in Yorkshire.
