Your local Poulner Infant School is asking for your help. We are appealing to the Parents, Grandparents and Families of current and future Poulner Children. We are appealing to those who were once themselves part of the Poulner Family and may one day be sending their own children to our Fantastic School.

We are currently trying to raise money to replace all the Whiteboard Projectors used in classrooms with up to date Interactive Screens in order to continue providing the best resources for the children of Poulner. As you can imagine, this is not a small upgrade. Like most things the costs involved in this are staggering reaching in to several thousand pounds.

Poulner infant School Association (PISA) are a registered charity (1021583) ran by a group of volunteer parents with a sole purpose of raising funds for the School. Our usual method for this is by arranging several popular events throughout the year and in the last 2 years alone have contributed by purchasing new library books, outdoor play equipment and paid toward laptops. PISA are also proud to pay toward school trips, making them cheaper to the parents and special treats such as puppet shows.

Due to a reduced school budget, we have been asked to help contribute towards these new screens. PISA agrees there is a real need for them in order to remain in keeping with technological advances and ensure that Poulner Children have the best experiences in their day to day school life. Benefits of the Interactive Screens include:

* Better engaged pupils - allowing the children to be more involved

* Easy to operate & faster loading times

* Excellent screen quality perfect for Educational Videos & Pictures

Ensuring the children are using the latest technology is more of a necessity rather than a luxury in this new age. We want to give them the benefit of the most up to date technology in the classroom.

On behalf of PISA I would like to thank you for taking the time to read our plea. We appreciate that there are 100's of worthwhile organisations asking people for their hard earned money every day. Just £1 from 500 local people will really help go towards the upgrade - if you cannot donate at this time then simply by sharing the page with other local people is all we ask.
