I've raised £4577 to boost an equivalent amount raised by sponsors to put on this free Christmas themed community event. Please read below for more info!

The Pitshanger Community Association runs events and activities to bring the community together and to raise money. Since 2010, the PCA has supported local charities and good causes to the tune of some £100,000. We’re a registered charity and run by volunteers.
Light Up The Lane costs around £12,000 to set up and run – we have to make the Lane safe and inviting for people to enjoy the shops, craft stalls and entertainment (hence road closures, having a stage with sound and lights, and costs of running the event). We can’t charge for the event so It is enjoyed for free by the local community and many folk from further away.
The event is well supported by sponsorship and other income from the local Traders on the Lane and and we're asking the local community to help us fund this event as it did last year. Thanks to everyone’s generosity in 2018, we already have £2,000 to help us fund the event from last year, so we’re looking for sponsorship and donations to help us make up the difference. If 2,500 people responded to this appeal and gave £2.50 each, we halfway there on our crowd-funding aim to Light Up the Lane.
Apart from supporting our wonderful community, this event provides opportunities for local organisations and businesses to promote themselves. Any amount you can afford to give will be gratefully received.
