Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself - John Dewey
I strongly believe that education can solve lot of problems that a society face in this futuristic and technologically advanced world. Especially empowering girls with education and making them literates will provide them the confidence to be independent and deal with any situation that life throws at them.
When I come across some stories in India and other places, I feel I am so privileged and lucky to be leading the life I have, getting all the right education and facilities. Being in this position I believe we can do a lot more to make world a better place than it was yesterday.
To support and raise money for this cause I am taking part in a 3 day bicycle ride from London to Paris starting on 24/05/2019. This is one of the first fund raising events that I have taken up and riding for this cause shall give me that extra resilience to complete the ride.
I would appreciate if you all can support in whatever small way possible to my cause :)

5 years agoThank you all for those who have supported the cause. I have directed our little pot of donation to a charity organisation called OSAAT (One School At A Time) in India. The organisation help in building schools especially in rural region of India. For more info on them, please visit osaat.org Since I cannot personally involve at this moment in any project I have chosen to direct our donation to this charity organisation. The total amount in Rupees that is being donated is around Rs. 25,000. Once again thank you all for the wonderful support!
