I've raised £2000 to help build the foundations for a not for profit organisation to help clear the UK's shorelines of single use plastic

Plastic pollution is overwhelming Britain, making up close to 90 per cent of litter on beaches. Scientists have reported that 220,000 pieces of plastic were found along one 37-mile stretch of coastline, including plastic bags, bottle caps and cotton bud sticks. Go to any beach in the UK, take a closer look and you will understand the size of the problem.
We want to create an organisation, to pave the way in using advances in technology to help with the cleaning of the UK's shorelines, and to educate the wider community to the problems we face from this issue.
Money raised will go towards registering as a not for profit organisation, the creation of a website, arranging clean up days, buy cleaning equiptment, marketing and educating the community.
