I'm raising £500 to support the Patchwork House Women’s Centre

Well I’ve done a 24 hour litter pick, three marathon length litter picks, so I thought it was time for an ultra - marathon length pick this time!

Every 30 seconds a call related to domestic abuse is received by the police. To represent this figure, I’m walking 30 miles, litter picking all the way as part of the Great British Spring Clean, to raise money for the Patchwork House.

The Patchwork House provides essential emotional support and practical advice, empowering ladies to achieve their best possible future, free from abuse.

As someone who grew up in a home that wasn’t as happy as it looked from the outside - to be able to raise funds for a place that does so much to help those in similar positions to what my mum and I were once in, is something very special for me.
