Story
Pranav Anish started riding bicycle at the age of 5. He is now 7 and has taken up the tough challenge to ride from London Hayes to Brighton on Saturday, 4th May 2019 covering 88 KMs with his cycling club. He will start the ride at 8.30 AM and is expected to finish by 7 PM with scheduled breaks in-between. If he succeeds, he will be the 'youngest rider' to complete the challenge this year.
On this occasion Pranav wishes to raise funds for his school (Park Hill Junior School, Croydon). PHJS is currently overhauling their curriculum and will need new topic books and resources for children. The funds will be used to enrich curricular & exra-curricular activities, which includes improving learning experience of pupils with interactive sessions from scientists, authors and athletes. Your support to Pranav (Year 3 student) and his school is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

5 years agoPranav started his ride in the morning at 8.30 AM and finished by 6.10 PM covering a distance of 88 Kms. He was absolutely fine and energetic until 80th Km when he had to climb a 'real' big last uphill (devils dyke before Brighton) and he decided to give up. Not sure what magic it was, his group ride leader and trainer Sanjay spoke to him for about 10 minutes and next we saw him was at the finish line completing the full 88 Kms - so YES, he cracked it!! He will be the 'youngest rider' (age 7) to have successfully completed the event this year.
