Pariah Dog is a dog shelter on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. They rescue dogs in distress and provide them with necessary medical treatment and care. They also offer the animals a safe sanctuary filled with love until they can be re-homed. The shelter is run by the incredibly devoted Nicola, as well as a dedicated team of volunteers, who all give so much of their time to help enhance the lives of these 70+ deserving dogs while they await adoption.

One of the biggest challenges to finding the dogs homes is the adoption fees associated with transporting the dogs abroad. This has become increasingly difficult and expensive with the added requirements since Covid-19. The adoption fees often add up to over £1000 (1300 USD), depending on the size of the dog. To rehome every pup would cost Nicola and her team £70,000 ($91,000 USD).

That's where you come in!

We're raising funds to support the cost of rehoming the dogs across the world. With your kind donations, we can hopefully give all of these beautiful doggies the opportunity to find loving homes. Even by reaching our minimum target listed, we will be able to significantly reduce adoption fees per dog. This will ultimately increase their chances of being adopted.

Several dogs have already made their way to new homes across the globe including to Scotland and the US and are now living their best lives! I had the pleasure of visiting Koh Samui and spending time at Pariah Dog recently and I can honestly say that any of these dogs would be an amazing addition to a family! This fundraiser is also in honour of Steve Quinn. Steve sadly passed away on May 20th last year. He was a massive supporter of Pariah Dog and a dear friend to many in Koh Samui. Steve was a huge part of the shelter and helped fundraise a lot of money that helped transform the rescue centre.

In his memory - this fundraiser will run for 1 month until Friday, May 20th, 2022. On this day - we will have several events going on to celebrate the fundraiser as well as the incredible life of Steve. There will be events held in Koh Samui and Edinburgh, Scotland.
