Story
You may be aware that Sierra Leone has experienced excessive rain and flooding over the last couple of days, resulting in serious mudslides and loss of life.
We’ve heard from Foday, our contact at Borbor Pain Charity School of Hope, and we’ve learned that the facility is experiencing great problems due to the disaster and the children who attend have been affected. Unfortunately two of the teachers are confirmed as "missing".
We’d like to send over some emergency funding to Foday in order to assist and we’re calling on your charitable support. For the price of a pint, or a glass of wine this weekend, you could really help make a difference. Thanks in advance for your support.
For those of you not in the know, Plowman Craven started supporting the school in 2011 and over the years we’ve provided funding for vegetable gardens, covered seating areas, uniforms and stationery. They need our help now more than ever.
