Coming home from an insanely life-altering year spent in Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh, its not so simple to move back to the life we were previously living back in Chutz L'aretz. Sometimes girls go to seminary and grow tremendously but they come home and are unable to maintain those huge steps they took simply because the contrast between the 2 different lifestyles is worlds apart! Its hard to hold on to all the inspiration you've heard for a year once you are back in your comfort zone at home.
But we KNOW the truth and we WANT to stay strong! We've been privileged to spend an unbelievable year witnessing pure, pure emes! Pninim has shown us how to acquire REAL simcha! Many of us have defied our nature and pushed ourselves through the pain of change and we have become the IMPOSSIBLE. Those of you who know any of us personally can testify to that - the way we came in to Pninim is incomparable with who we are now!
But its too dangerous to leave our growth here. This past year we all found our set of values and we saw how real Torah is, we saw its emes!
As the future mothers of Klal Yisrael we need to plant the seeds now - to have our values ingrained; to have the love for yiddishkeit rooted deep, deep within OURSELVES so that we can be strong enough to be'ezrat Hashem bring up our own children in a healthy, happy home full of Hashems love and protection. What we become NOW is what will solidify the foundations for the future generations of Am Yisrael!!
We've had an incredible Shana Aleph. We aren't asking for another one. We want a Shana Bet that can secure everything we've gained until now.
Pninim is the reason we are everything we became this year - each of us personally. To keep strong we want a year to continue our hard work, one more year of phenomenal classes and one more year of support from all our amazing teachers before we can be'ezrat H' start our own homes and families...
