Weʼve raised £60 to fund the costs of publishing a poetry book (all proceeds from book sales go directly to Prader Willi Association UK)

Funded on Friday, 22nd February 2019

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Hello everyone! I'm a mother of a little boy with the rare genetic condition Prader Willi Syndrome. To raise money for Prader Willi Syndrome Association UK, the wonderful charity which looks after people with PWS, I'm publishing a poetry anthology this Christmas 2018. I am paying for the publishing of the books myself and then PWSA UK will be selling them directly (and keeping 100% of profits). I am now looking to crowdfund just to cover the initial printing costs. To learn more about PWSA UK's great work, a lifeline for many families across the UK (and abroad): https://www.pwsa.co.uk
