Hi hi!

My name is Nate, and as you probably know by now, I'm autistic.

It's affected my day to day life for as long as I can remember, somedays I struggle to maintain basic hygiene, i can't use my mouth to speak, I can't recognise hunger or thirst or pain, and have frequent Sensory Overloads due to a higher level of sensitivity than Neurotypicals. I constantly "stim" in order to either release emotions or energy, or to create it; I need aid in learning and day to day like due to a delay in my processing; I need to make sure I always carry sunglasses and headphones with me to make sure I don't have a meltdown and get shouted at or laughed at.

Due to it, I need different facilities to function well.

Unfortunately, I do not have the best financial circumstances. I currently live in a Two Bedroom Flat with my Brother, Father, and Step-Mother (that's a lot of people!). I, being in full time education, am unable to work; and even then, most jobs will not accept me due to being autistic, and my severity fluctuates so often that I would not be able to keep a stable source of income. My father, is a self-employed window cleaner, meaning that his income varies on the weather; he is also neurodivergent,

Worry not! We do manage to get by! But, only just; we don't have the funds for the resources to help me in this world.

So, if you can, please donate just a little to help us build a safe bedroom for me, get a small collection of stim toys for when I have to leave the house, sensory items to put in mine sensory room. I want to be able to function as normally as I can, and to feel safe and comfortable in this world; I am only a teenager, I still need help.
