I've raised £800 to Help fund hardcore to resurface features in the skills area, this will help allow the area to be used all year round.

Winter has arrived and as many of the local riders know, the material that Pooley mound is made from gets pretty sloppy! We are working to sort this once and for all but once again we need your help!
We have had some fantastic feedback from riders who use the skills area but with the recent wintery conditions it's has sadly become practically unrideable, which ins't fun at all!
We have already started re-surfacing in the skills area (start 7/12/20) but with delivery restrictions we are limited to bulk bags only, not the most cost effective way we know but needs must! Not to mention every last KG has to be wheelbarrowed into position.
Our target amount is for 15 bulk bags of Type 1 Aggregate, this will enable us to complete the Intro/Beginner/Intermediate jump lines and the landing area of the Drop Zone, enabling a safer area for us all to ride through the winter.
If anyone is able to help find a cheaper alternative or know of businesses/companies that would be able to support us in some way then please get in touch with us at info@pooleyparkmtb.org.
Pooley MTB Trails are volunteer maintained and not funded so it's down to us to make the change that we all want. We have dedicated volunteers each dig day and the interest is growing. Together we can make Pooley MTB Trails somewhere for every ability and any age to progress and enjoy riding.
