I have a child named Shalini a two year old who was diagnosed with a congenital Liver Disease called “Biliary Atresia” since she was 8 months old. Shalini is in need of an urgent liver transplant which a hospital in Mumbai has quoted a cost of INR 12,00,000 for the transplant. Please help me to save her life by securing the funds to allow me to donate a part of my liver so she can live like a normal kid again. As a father I was shocked to hear that her condition would be life threatening. She had only just been born. Her screening, lab test, scan and liver ultrasound results came and Surgeon advised us to have the LIVER TRANSPLANT as soon as possible because baby with biliary atresia are unlikely to live past age 2.

Since her first admission until now, my baby has been in and out of ICU due to internal bleeding, vomiting and passing stool with blood, leading to having repeated injections in her upper gastro intestine and esophagus to temporarily stop her bleeding, which was causing her to lose a lot of blood and too much weight. She needs to have this transplant as soon as possible, and I plan to be the donor for her liver transplant. She is a strong baby but as a parent I see that she feels tired and in pain every time she's in the hospital. I feel the pain every time she has an injection or lab-test etc but every time she calls me I feel pain like somebody slap an ice on my face so hurt when u see through skype that your baby had too much apparatus she's looking at you like saying mama I want you. If I have a choice I will not stay away from her but I have no choice. I know God will provide as long as we are doing the best that we can.

We are really down and lost. Our family is financially incapable of spending for such an operation, which has been quoted to cost INR 12,00,000.
