My name is Poppy and I am 14 years old. I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to go on a expedition to Borneo. The expedition will involve many things including visiting The Kinabatangon Nature Lodge. Part of our aim here is to help rebuild the paths and habitats of the sun bears that have been worn away in the rain. I will also be involved in The Kudat Project which I will help to rebuild the school in the local community. I may also be lucky enough to help teach some of the children including organising a sports afternoon which will be a great way to interact and engage with the local community.

I am very excited about the expedition but still have a way to go in raising the £3600 that is needed for me to participate so I am very grateful and thankful for any donations that I may receive through this site. I have been doing lots of different things to help raise money including dog walking, sweet cones, glitter tattoos and hair braids and spend a lot of weekends at galas. However, some people have stated that they would like to support me but don't want to have to attend or buy anything which is why I have set up this page.
