Weʼre raising £250 to help Pop Recs CIC cover the cost of damage caused, and equipment stolen, during 2 recent break-ins.

Don't have time to donate right now?
In the last few months we've been on the receiving end of two break-ins which have significantly damaged the entrances to our cafe and venue. Unfortunately it's been very difficult to absorb this cost as we try to develop the rest of the building.
As a CIC we exist enrich our community and provide opportunities for as many groups as possible. We currently directly employ 6 local people and indirectly contribute to the income of many others. We provide access to our cafe and venue to many groups, more often than not, at no cost.
The reality of incidents like this is that it puts us under significant financial pressure. The money raised here will go towards replacing our front doors and contributing to the cost of a roller shutter door into our venue.
Peace and love,
Dan, Michael & Pop Recs

Hi everyone! First of all, we can't thank you all enough for your generosity with this. It's been astonishing really - we count ourselves very lucky to have so many supporters. Update: we've been able to fit a motorised shutter behind the front doors, which is fantastic and seals the front of the building off. Obviously there's a few quid left over so we're planning on having some metal sheeting/bars fabricated for the front windows and also the office windows. I'll keep you updated on that. Thanks a million. Dan, Michael & Naomi
