Sports Academy George is a non-profit organisation operating in the under-privileged communities of George, South Africa for ten years. They use sport as a tool to connect and disciple young people, providing them with opportunities for a better future through the coaching, mentorship and career guidance incorporated into their programmes.

Sports Academy George want their students to be the best version of themselves and so their programmes are focused on developing them spiritually, physically and academically. In January 2019 they will open a private school for the under-privileged. The school will not only cater to the basic needs of the students in terms of food, clothing etc. but will provide them with a higher level of education, propelling them into a better future with opportunities for further education and full-time employment.

We are raising money through the Portballin'tri' to support the work of Sports Academy George, and specifically the opening of their school.
