Our Friend Jo

Hello friends, I'd like to tell you all about Jo. She's an amazing friend of mine who's a special needs teacher at Portfield School in Wales. She's running the Cardiff Half Marathon on 01/10 to raise funds for a wheelchair swing for the school so every child can enjoy that fabulous tummy spinning feeling as you swing through the air. Something that us able bodied folk (children & adults alike) take for granted.

Jo originally asked if I could get some sponsorship however I thought it might be a better idea to set up this page. Jo won't mind me telling you that she's not tech savvy at all so this will be a bit of a surprise for her. The total cost of the swing is £10k. She's running as part of a team made up from 'Friends of Portfield School' and the maximum anyone has run between them is 10kms.

So anything you can give will help Jo and the school immensely. Thanks in advance for your time, I hope to see the pennies and pounds roll in. Jo will be well chuffed and totally surprised. Thank you xxx
